When I had the stock exhaust (dual tips), they seemed to stay a little bit cleaner for longer than my current exhaust (large single tips). This may have to do with the tip design (perhaps with less velocity coming from the tailpipe, some of the carbon can "linger" a bit around the tips?), or it may just be that the exhaust is less restricted. But honestly, if there was really any difference at all, it seems minimal at most. It's probably got more to do with how much effort the owner puts into keeping the tips cleaned and polished. I think that part of it may be that owners of the GD exhausts have had them for less time than owners of the GReddy.
